Starting at my hiring, I was both the youngest employee on the restaurant staff, as well as the first one to be promoted of the summer. I began as a server's assistant and took a leadership position to act as a liaison between co-workers and management. Within another month, I was promoted again to a cocktail server and trained as a bartender. My experience lasted over 2 summers between the months of May and September.
What I Did:
− Promoted twice within 2 months at world-renowned Relais & Chateaux property
− Liaised between staff and management as head server's assistant to negotiate wage, hours, and number of staff on duty.
− Fostered friendly & professional customer relations in a fast-pace work environment during 13-hour shifts
